How to Reach Bhandardara

Bhandardara is one of the most visited areas in Maharashtra, besides Mumbai. If you are a wealthy person and would like to reach Bhandardara by air, then note that the nearest airport is Chatrapati Shivaji Airport of Mumbai which is about 185Km away from Bhandardara. Since Mumbai is well connected with all major cities of the country and abroad, travelling by air will not be any problem at all. Now, for the second option, the transportation by bus to Bhandardara is the easiest way for middle class people.

The transport services of Maharashtra are quite good enough and are available up to the downhill. Most of the major cities of India are connected to this town via this kind of transport. Lastly, to reach safely to Bhandardara by train is also a favorable option for those people who dislike the crowds of a bus. The nearest station is Igatpuri, 35Km from Bhandardara, and taxis will charge Rs.500 whilst buses charge Rs.25 per head, for travelling to this place from the station.
